Cycle Of Democracy

Cycle of Democracy

The original concept of the Cycle of Democracy leads us to Dr. Alexander Tytler, a Scottish professor, who wrote a scholarly tome from which this concept comes, called “The Athenian Republic.” This was published shortly before the thirteen American colonies gained independence from Britain. If you do additional research, you will find that his students and other sources over the years contributed to the “Cycle of Democracy.”

This body of work states that a democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise them the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy will collapse over loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship. Sound familiar America? Careful who you vote for!

Cycle of Democracy

The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been approximately 200 years. These nations rise and fall and have progressed through this sequence.

Bondage to spiritual faith

Spiritual faith to courage

Courage to liberty

Liberty to abundance

Abundance to selfishness

Selfishness to apathy

Apathy to dependency

Dependency back into bondage

It is often said that unless we learn from the lessons of history, we are destined to repeat it. Therefore, we will begin by taking a brief stroll through history so that we can identify the similarities and the specific occurrences from a broad perspective in the “Cycle of Democracy” that takes place in nations throughout history. We’ll do this so that we may be prepared for the immediate dangers that this presents as well as identifying the new trends and opportunities that arise during such transitions. Those who stay informed, do their due diligence and take decisive action may reap the benefits in this new century, the Asian century. Be prepared as the global markets will soon decimate the wealth of the people. When? Any time now in 2016 or 2017. It is not a matter of if but rather a matter of when. They will do it when they are good and ready and that time is coming soon in this one mans opinion.

We begin with understanding the fact that nothing lasts forever. Nothing stays the same. In our universe, things expand and contract, and this applies to the birth and death of nations and civilizations. There are many examples of this throughout history.

It is within this cycle where we can identify these changes that have taken place throughout history and are indeed taking place today in many parts of the world with the greatest impact-taking place in the United States of America, Canada and Europe. During the previous century, the financial power has centered on the Western world, in the U.S. and in Europe. This is changing and changing very rapidly. This shift of power will expose the masses to significant dangers as well as opportunities. The Asian Century is upon us. The rise and fall of nations has occurred many times throughout history. Below are but a few examples.

I would submit to you that the United States is now at the stages of “apathy to dependency” and soon “dependency back into bondage”. The evidence is clear if you are willing to look and accept the facts. Something must be done. We can, we will, we must and we are returning to spiritual faith leading us to great courage so we can unite and restore this once great republic.
